A Return Visit to Coney Island Lighthouse Mission
After a successful trip in February, 9 Stevenson students returned to Coney Island Lighthouse Mission in March with Athletic Director Nick Alexandrakos. They assembled and distributed 120 care packages, and took a tour of Maimonides Park. One student described that "Not only do we get to help people at CILM, which is very important, volunteering introduces us to new experiences and new people. Being able to give back with *Coach Gary is something that we will always remember, and getting the stadium tour was unexpected and really valued. Everyone volunteering is able to bond through feelings of satisfaction and care."
*Coach Gary is a former professional goalkeeper who has coached Stevenson Soccer and Basketball.
